Criteria for the Player of the Month

CRITERIA FOR THE PLAYER OF THE MONTH AWARDS:

  1. Seven points will be awarded for a century.
  2. Three points will be awarded for a fifty.
  3. Seven points will be awarded for five or more wickets in a match.
  4. Three points will be awarded for three or four wickets in a match.
  5. Two points will be awarded for three catches in a match.
  6. Four points will be awarded for four or more catches in a match.
  7. A player's performance will be considered only from that team for which
    he would not miss more than one played game in a given month.
  8. The player of the month will be awarded to that player who would earn
    the highest number of points in a month from such performances after
    dividing the total number of points by total number of games in which
    he would bat or bowl.
  9. Captains would be responsible for sending the score cards to the Web
    Master (Gulli). Only information from the web would be used.
  10. The player of the month (May, June, July and August) will be announced
    in the first week of the following month and trophies will be given at
    the banquets.

 

 

Criteria for Best Batsman and Bowler

CRITERIA FOR THE BEST BATSMAN AND BEST BOWLER AWARDS:

  1. The qualified batsman with the best batting average in his team would
    win the Best Batsman Award from his team.
  2. The qualified bowler with the best bowling average in his team would
    win the Best Bowler Award from his team.
  3. The qualified batsmen from teams in BCMCL are those who have batted
    in a minimum of 10 innings for a team (BCMCL criteria).
  4. The qualified batsmen from teams in NWCL are those who have batted in
    a minimum of 6 innings for a team.
  5. The qualified bowlers from teams in BCMCL are those who have taken a
    minimum of 18 wickets for a team (BCMCL criteria). But, 1st team
    bowlers with 17 wickets qualified (maximum wicket # in 1st team).
  6. The qualified bowlers from teams in NWCL are those who have taken a
    minimum of 15 wickets for a team.
  7. Trophies will be presented to the winners at the Annual Banquet.
  8. These awards are based on regular season statistics.
